Terfstomp is a Gothic & Witchy Ska Punk Queercore project of mine.
Originally I was going to just make "Skabel" into an acoustic project but I figured its time to turn the page to a new chapter in my musical and artistic career.

"Pig Slayer" album is a bit of a passion piece.
Identity kind of always meant a lot to me.
When people tell me who they are and what makes them who they are, it’s always important to me.
So I did a ritual in this video where I kill a former version of myself.
Skabel is the name of a stage name I used to go by.
The name was a play on words (“ska” being one of my favorite genres and I wrote a whole lot of ska songs) (“bel” being the last syllable of my deadname).
I went by Skabel when I released the Patetico Mondo self-titled album.
That was released on May 25, 2012 (which if you look at the calendar).
We were a ska punk band. We played a good number of shows. A lot of them were among the greatest times of my life.
I am proud that we produced the album we published in 2012. We were at odds with each other which led to our disbandment but we were from my hometown, Burbank. We had a scene. It was small but it was sizable enough to have full house shows. Nothing like South Central or Boyle Heights or just East LA in general but I always liked being in that scene too and making friends there. I also got pretty deep in he Antelope Valley scene when I was in Autistic Chainsaw. We also played some sshows worth remembering and I don’t say that lightly.
So this album is mainly about the death of Skabel. I will no longer write songs as Skabel but maybe if I can get a 3-4 piece band going called Terfstomp then maybe that can someday be a chance to play shows again.
Skabel was 100% acoustic while it was alive. It was a radically anarchist acoustic band that incorporated ska, acoustic “metal”, folk punk while sometimes diving into jazz and Hindi/Celtic style tunes. A lot of them were super easy to play but a whole lot of fun. I might perform those songs again someday but the song writing of that project is officially dead. Skabel is a deadname now. I literally burned Skabel alive. He is dead. And yes, his pronouns were he/they. I am she/they. There are some old fans that deadname and misguided me because I was not trans when it started. My music cannot evolve without this necessary step.
Terfstomp is a Gothic & Witchy Ska Punk Queercore project.
It’s meant to be emotionally honest allowing for the words to speak for themselves through my emotional state. It’s kind of like Emotional Hardcore from the 1980’s. It feels like if Rites of Spring married System of a Down.
I can also say that I am incredibly proud of myself.
I fucking love his album. It feels like me.
More me than Skabel.
